The letterbox at Sherree's home is working overtime at the moment thanks to the tickets that are pouring in for various key events from the English social calendar. Royal Ascot, the Derby, Henley -Sherree is always a welcome guest in her capacity as the UK’s leading society artist, and she will be there as ever with her sketchbook and camera recording those moments that inspire her to produce more of her wonderful, award-winning society scenes. Sherree herself comments: 'This is the time of year when the light is at its most glorious; with the sun blazing high in the sky, the elegantly clad women in their fabulous hats take on an almost exotic quality - like butterflies or birds of paradise. When I see them against the famous backdrop of these historic sporting venues the effect is simply irresistible, and I am soon mixing a palette of radiant pinks and luminescent whites alongside traditional lawn greens and dark browns.'
